Dartmoor Volcano Race

The Dartmoor Volcano Race is a challenging 10.5-mile trail running event held in Dartmoor National Park, starting and finishing in the village of Scoriton, near Buckfastleigh. The course features over 550 meters of ascent, including high points such as Pupers Hill, Snowdon, and Ryder's Hill—the highest point in southern Dartmoor. Runners navigate rocky, boggy, and technical terrain with three river crossings, a clapper bridge, bogs, and a notable ascent of the Red Lake Volcano.
