About the race
Dartmoor Diary is the third event in a series of smaller challenge walks on Dartmoor organised by LDWA Cornwall and Devon. It is scheduled for 19 September 2027 and takes place on Dartmoor. Course details are to be confirmed. Entries open on 1 January 2027 and close on 24 August 2027.
The listed entry fee for LDWA members is £20. All routes will be covered by the OS Explorer OL28 Dartmoor map at a 1:25,000 scale. Entrants will be sent route descriptions and GPX files by email before the event. Participants must be able to read a map, follow compass bearings, and carry the knowledge, equipment and navigational skills needed to walk in all conditions, particularly in bad weather.
Participants are required to follow the Dartmoor Ranger Code and the Countryside Code while on the moor. Dogs are not permitted except for registered disability assistance dogs. Certificates will be provided on the day to those who complete the walk. The event follows the organiser's published terms and cancellation and refund policies.
