Dartmoor Diary
Dartmoor Diary is the third in a series of smaller challenge events held on Dartmoor and organised by LDWA - Cornwall and Devon. The event is scheduled for Sunday 19 September 2027 and entries open on 1 January 2027 and close on 24 August 2027. Course details are to be confirmed.
Entrants must be able to read a map and follow compass bearings and must have the knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills to take part in a walk in all conditions, especially in bad weather. Participants must follow the Dartmoor Ranger Code and the Countryside Code at all times.
All routes will be covered by the OS Explorer OL28 map at a scale of 1:25,000. Route descriptions and GPX files will be emailed to entrants prior to the event. Dogs are not permitted except for registered disability assistance dogs.
Certificates will be issued on the day to those who complete the walk. The event lists an entry fee of £20.00 for LDWA members. The organising body is LDWA - Cornwall and Devon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
