Dartmoor Diary
Dartmoor Diary is the third in a series of smaller challenge events held on Dartmoor and organised by LDWA - Cornwall and Devon. The event is scheduled for 19 September 2027 and entries open on 1 January 2027 and close on 24 August 2027. Entry for LDWA members is shown as £20.00.
The event is run as a navigational walk. Entrants must be able to read a map and follow compass bearings, and must have the knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills to take part in all conditions, including bad weather. All routes will be covered by the OS Explorer OL28 Dartmoor map at 1:25,000 scale. Route descriptions and GPX files will be emailed to entrants prior to the event.
Participants must follow the Dartmoor Ranger Code and the Countryside Code at all times. Dogs are not permitted except for registered disability assistance dogs. Certificates will be issued on the day to those who complete the walk.
