About the race
The Dancing Lights 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Tennessee as part of the Dancing Lights of Christmas seasonal display. The event is presented by The Dancing Lights of Christmas and Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet/Nashville and marks the 17th consecutive season of the Dancing Lights. Participants move along a largely gravel course lit by approximately two million lights timed to holiday music.
The run finishes at Santa's Village, where hot chocolate and other goodies are available. The event is organized as an un-timed fun run; there is no chip timing, but a rolling clock will be available at the finish line. Registration is offered in two price periods: September 1 through September 30 and October 1 through November 5, with tiered fees by age and a price increase after October 1. Logo hoodies are available on a first come, first serve basis in adult sizes only; sizes are selectable during registration until they run out.
Children aged 5 and under are free but do not receive a sweatshirt. Course and safety notes: the surface is not fully paved and strollers are not recommended; stroller users should line up near the back. Pets are not permitted on the course. Children must remain with parents and participants may not re-enter the course after finishing. Packet pickup is held at Fleet Feet Mt.
Juliet on specified dates before the event. There is no race day registration and no packet pickup at the event. Parking is limited to the designated gate at 175 Peyton Road. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
