Dancing Lights 5K Fun Run
The Dancing Lights 5K Fun Run/Walk is part of the Dancing Lights of Christmas seasonal display held at the Wilson County Fairgrounds, 175 Peyton Road, Lebanon, TN. The event is presented with Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet/Nashville and coincides with the Dancing Lights of Christmas display in its 17th season.
Participants follow a roughly 5-kilometer route that passes through displays of about two million lights timed to holiday music. The run is un-timed; there is no chip timing, but a rolling clock will be available at the finish. The course is not fully paved and is largely gravel; strollers are not recommended and, if used, should be positioned toward the back of the field. Pets are not permitted on the course. The finish area is at Santa’s Village, where hot chocolate and goodies are available.
Registration pricing is split into two periods: September 1 through September 30 with fees of $40 for ages 13 and up, $30 for ages 6–12, and free for children 5 and under (no sweatshirt); and October 1 through November 6 with fees of $45 for ages 13 and up, $35 for ages 6–12, and free for children 5 and under (no sweatshirt). Logoed event hoodies are offered on a first come, first served basis in adult sizes only. There is a $10 group discount for registrations of four or more participants.
