Run the Cedars is an athletic event held at Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon, Tennessee. The event utilizes the natural scenery of the state park and the local landscape to provide various route options for participants. The following distances are available:
- 15k (9.3 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1-Mile Walk
The course for the 15k distance extends beyond the park boundaries to incorporate surrounding rural roads. For all participants, the routes include multiple water stations positioned throughout the course. The primary gathering point for the event is the parking area situated at the intersection of WPA and Cedars Road.
This event serves as a fundraiser for Wilson County FCA. In addition to the running and walking activities, the venue features live music and various local vendors. Food is provided on-site for those in attendance. Registration is required for all distances, with specific categories available for high school cross-country participants in the 5k event.
