Dana Point Turkey Trot : Overview
The Dana Point Turkey Trot is the 48th annual edition of a Thanksgiving Day running event held in Dana Point Harbor, California. The event is USA Track & Field certified and offers in-person and virtual race options. The race supports local charities and lists fundraising partners such as the Dana Point Women's Club for Project Foster, the Dana Point Historical Society, and the YMCA of Orange County. The event includes a health and fitness expo and a costume contest on race day.

Registration includes a 2025 commemorative T-shirt, finisher medal for each timed race, race bib with timed results (kids' mile is not timed), and a virtual goody bag. Registration is non-refundable and the event takes place rain or shine. Packet pick-up and the expo occur on the two days before and on race day at Dana Point Harbor, with packet pick-up located in the Dana Marina Plaza parking lot. Free shuttles run from Dana Hills High School to the race area on race day, and public parking is available on Del Prado and in the Lantern District public lots.
