Event overview
The Dana Point Turkey Trot returns to Dana Point Harbor on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025. The event is a USA Track & Field-certified road race held at Dana Point Harbor in Dana Point, California. The event includes an on-site Health & Fitness Expo and a costume contest. The race supports local charities, including the Dana Point Women's Club for Project Foster, the Dana Point Historical Society, and the YMCA of Orange County.

Registration includes a 2025 commemorative T-shirt, a finisher medal for each race, a race bib with timed results (Kids Gobble Wobble is not timed), and a virtual goody bag. The virtual 5K kit is guaranteed for arrivals if registered by November 8. Packet pick-up and the Health & Fitness Expo take place on Wednesday, November 26 (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM) and on race day, Thursday, November 27 (6:00 AM - 11:00 AM) at the Dana Marina Plaza parking lot, 25001 Dana Point Harbor Dr. Free shuttles will run from Dana Hills High School to the race area on race day, and public parking is available on Del Prado and in the Lantern District public lots.
