Dana Point Turkey Trot
The 49th annual Dana Point Turkey Trot takes place in Dana Point Harbor in Southern California on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. The event offers multiple in-person and virtual options along the harbor and nearby streets.
Distances and event types include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 10K + 5K combo (15K total across two races)
- 5K Family Walk/Run
- Kids 1 mile Gobble Wobble
- Virtual 5K (domestic shipping only)
Registration packages include a 2026 commemorative T-shirt, a finisher medal for each race entered, a race bib with timed results for timed events, and a virtual goody bag. The Kids Gobble Wobble is not timed. The virtual 5K is limited to domestic shipping; international registrations will be refunded. Registration is non refundable and the event occurs rain or shine.
Packet pick-up is available at Dana Point Harbor in the Dana Marina Plaza parking lot; participants pick up their T-shirt and bib at check-in and medals are distributed at the finish line. Local logistics note free race day shuttles from a nearby high school to the race area, public parking in the Dana Point Harbor Parking Structure, and additional street and city parking near Del Prado and the Lantern District.
