Dan Rankin Memorial 5K

The Dan Rankin Memorial 5K is a run/walk held in Middletown, Delaware on November 21, 2026. The event takes place at 116 W Main Street and is organized as a memorial to Dan Rankin, who was killed on January 24, 2024 by an impaired driver while training for a Spartan 50k race. Awards are given for overall male and female and overall masters male and female. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each listed age group for both males and females. Age groups include 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Overall and masters results are based on gun time, and age-group awards are based on chip time.
