The Damascus Festival of Miles is a timed loop race held in Damascus Town Park, Damascus, Virginia, on October 2-3, 2026. The event uses a scenic 1-mile loop through the park with a mix of paved and trail sections. More than 100 reserved campsite spaces are available along the course for registered participants who wish to camp overnight on Friday. Designated parking areas will be available near the event site.
Race format and amenities
Participants choose a timed race and run as many laps as possible within that period. The event includes live music, food trucks, and entertainment at the park gazebo during the festival. Aid stations along the course will provide water and snacks. Event staff will provide packet pickup on Friday and on race day. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each race category, plus recognition for the participants who complete the most laps in their time frame. All registered runners receive a race shirt. Volunteers support race logistics, aid stations, and registration, and volunteers have access to a Volunteer Village.
