Damascus Festival of Miles : October 2-3, 2026

The Damascus Festival of Miles is a timed loop running event held in Damascus Town Park, Virginia. Participants choose a timed entry and run laps on a scenic 1-mile loop that includes both paved and trail sections. This year’s event offers three timed options and organizers plan to add a 24-hour challenge in a future edition. Registered runners may camp overnight in reserved spaces alongside the course; more than 100 campsite spots are available.

Each participant runs as many laps as possible within the chosen time frame. Walking is permitted. The event program includes live music at the park gazebo, food trucks, aid stations with water and snacks, and designated parking areas near the site. Awards are given for first through third place in each race category and special recognition is planned for those with the most laps. Packet pickup is available on the day before and on race morning. Volunteers support race logistics and will have access to a Volunteer Village. All registered runners receive a race shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
