43rd Dam Mill 5K
The Dam Mill 5K is a community running and walking event held in Cupula Park, Millsboro, DE. This is the 43rd edition and it serves as the ninth race in the Seashore Strider Championship Series.

Organizers describe the course as flat and fast through the town of Millsboro with a downhill finish into the park. Timing will use the Chronotrack B Chip system. Finish line production, post race awards and a Dam Mill Hall of Fame induction are listed among event amenities. Custom t shirts and custom awards are provided, and awards are presented within 20 minutes after the final finisher. Awards include overall male and female champions, overall masters 40 plus, and top three finishers in age groups from 9 and under through 80 plus. Walk awards go to the top five male and top five female walkers.
Registration is available online or by mail with tiered entry fees: an early rate through July 12, a pre race rate July 13 through July 25, and a higher last chance race day rate. Participants registered by July 20 are guaranteed a t shirt; later registrations are on a first come basis. The event benefits the Millsboro Fire Department.
Course rules require participants to follow the marked course and not run on private property. Bikes pacing runners and unregistered participants are not allowed. A separate 5K walk division follows USATF race walking standards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
