The Dalwood Fayre 2026
The Dalwood Fayre is a trail running event in Dalwood, East Devon, with an event centre at Dalwood Village Hall, Dalwood, Axminster EX13 7EQ. The event offers two measured trail distances and marked courses with marshals at road crossings.
- 10 km course, hilly and muddy, follows the same route used in previous years.
- 3 km course, runs along riverside trails and through fields from Ham Road and includes a zig zags section.
The event follows age and distance guidance from England Athletics and the Trail Running Association: the 10 km is open to runners aged 16 or over on the day, and the 3 km is open to any age. Entry fees are stated separately for affiliated and unaffiliated runners. Entries close 15th July 2026. Entry on the day and pre-entry bib collection take place at the village hall. Toilets are available and bags may be left at the village hall at the owner’s risk.
Parking is guided by marshals and depends on weather and ground conditions; car sharing is requested to reduce local disruption and walk times to registration. Refreshments including tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be available to buy, with proceeds going to local charities. There will be no finisher medal but a small finishers gift from a sponsor. The event is licenced by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
