Branford Thanksgiving 5K
The Branford Thanksgiving 5K is a community running event held at Walsh Intermediate School in Branford, Connecticut. The main race is a flat 5K that begins and finishes at the school and travels through Route 146 and Pine Orchard Golf Course. The event also includes a kids fun run and a new 2 mile walk option designed for all ages and abilities.

Event proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Branford and the Soundview Family YMCA. Funds support local programs including a veterans luncheon, a senior holiday dinner, the Branford Food Pantry, Orchard House Adult Medical Day Center, and Branford Counseling and Community Services.
The event features a pre- and post-race party with kids activities, music, and grab-and-go food. Kids Fun Run participants receive finisher ribbons. Awards are given to top finishers including first male and female, top three non-binary, and top three male and female in each age category from 12 & Under through 80+.
Parking at Walsh Intermediate School is limited to 300 spots; additional parking and signed routes are available in the Meadow Wood Road and Sunset Hill area.
