Event overview
The DAAA 10 Mile Road Race is the fourth edition of the event and takes place on Sunday 12 April 2026 in Clydebank. The race will host the West District 10 Mile Road Race Championships (pending) and the DAAA 10 Mile Road Race Championship. The event is organised by the Dunbartonshire Amateur Athletic Association. The race distance is 10 mile. Entries are limited to 300 runners; when full a waitlist will be activated. Entry fees are listed as: Early Bird £16 (until 31 December 2025), Standard £18 (from 1 January 2026) and Last-minute £24 on race weekend (subject to availability).
Course, logistics and prizes
The course is certified accurate, almost entirely flat, and follows an out-and-back route. It starts and finishes at Clydebank Leisure Centre, follows the Clyde River and the Firth & Forth Canal to The Bowline at Bowling Harbour, and returns to finish beneath the Titan Crane. There are mile markers, marshals, two water stations (around miles 3 and 7), and first aid at the Event Arena and Glen Lusset. Chip timing is provided by ProTay. Time limit is 2 hours 30 minutes and minimum age is 17 years on race day. There are no refunds or deferrals; if the race is rescheduled for adverse weather places will be transferred to the alternative date. Prizes include vouchers for top finishers and medals for championship placings; all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Parking is available adjacent to Clydebank Leisure Centre.
