2026 D-Day Dash
The D-Day Dash is a running event held in El Paso, Texas, that honors the history of the US Army Rangers. The event takes place at Ascarate Park and utilizes an out-and-back course on a paved trail. Participants can choose from several distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 mile children's fun run
- Virtual options for all distances
The event is part of the Ranger Memorial Triad. Participants who complete all three races in the triad series within a single year receive a specific T-shirt and medal. Virtual participation in earlier series events is permitted to qualify for this series award.
For the in-person event, parking is available within Ascarate Park. The schedule for the children’s 1 mile fun run is designed to allow parents to complete their own races before assisting their children. Parents may run with or pace their children in the fun run without a separate registration, provided they do not require an additional medal or shirt.
Registered participants in the 5K and 10K events receive a T-shirt and a finisher's medal. Packet pick-up is available the evening before the event at a location on Douglas Avenue and on the morning of the race at the park. Same-day registration is also offered at the park during the morning check-in window. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
