Paso a Paso's Inaugural 5K Run/Walk to End Diabetes
Paso a Paso's inaugural 5K Run/Walk to End Diabetes is scheduled for June 6, 2026 at Mission Hills Park, 3800 O'Keefe, El Paso, TX 79902. The event features a 3.1 miles course that runs through the neighborhood around Mission Hills Park.
Registration uses tiered pricing: individual early bird registration is $35 for April 2 to April 16, $40 from April 17 to May 22, and $45 from May 23 to June 5. Race day registration is $50. Team registration offers a $5 discount per team member when a team meets the minimum of 10 members. The first nine team members pay the regular price and receive a $5 refund once the 10th member signs up; members who join after the 10th pay the discounted fee. Registration fees are non refundable.
Pre registered participants by May 8 receive a race T shirt. Early packet pick up is scheduled for May 31 at 700 North Copia from 9 am to 5 pm. Race day packet pick up will be available at the start line.
Awards include trophies for overall male and female finishers, a trophy for the largest team, and medals for the top three finishers in male and female age groups 0 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Refreshments will be available at the finish line.
