Paso a Paso's 5K Run/Walk to End Diabetes
Paso a Paso's 5K Run/Walk to End Diabetes is scheduled for June 6, 2026 at Album Park, 3110 Parkwood, El Paso, TX. The event covers 5K (3.1 miles) along park paths.
Registration follows tiered fees: individual rates are $35 for the early period, $40 for the middle period, $45 for the late pre-race period, and $50 for race day registration. Team registration offers a $5 discount per member with a minimum team size of 10 to qualify. The first nine team members pay the regular price and receive a $5 refund once the tenth member registers; each member after the tenth pays the discounted fee. Registration fees are non-refundable. Runners and walkers who pre-register by May 8 receive a race t-shirt.
Packet pickup options are provided, including early packet pickup at 700 North Copia during stated pickup hours and race day pickup at the start line.
The course runs through Album Park and is mostly flat with a few gentle hills. Awards include trophies for overall male and female, a trophy for the largest team, and medals for the top three finishers in male and female age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Refreshments are available at the finish.
