Event: Cymoedd Sir Fynwy (18–19 April 2026)

Cymoedd Sir Fynwy is an LDWA event based in Abergavenny that follows routes through the Black Mountains and the Forgotten Landscape World Heritage area above Blaenavon. The course includes sections of the cancelled Y 100 Sir Fynwy and parts of the Valleys 100 route. The route passes upland features such as Deri, Loxidge Tump and Skirrid, and goes via Cwmyoy, Llanthony and Pandy before entering the Blaenavon landscape and finishing along the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal.

Entries, limits and location

Entries open on 1 October 2025 and close on 31 March 2026. Entry limits are: 125 entrants for the 50-mile event, 50 entrants for the 30-mile event, and 75 entrants for the 20-mile event. The listing shows 90 participants registered so far. Entry fees vary by distance and LDWA membership status.
