Cupid's Chase 5K Austin
Cupid's Chase in Austin is the local stop of a national February race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options and raises funds to support housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This will be the 19th annual race; the series drew more than 17,000 participants nationwide in the previous year. The event takes place at Camp Mabry, 2200 West 35th Street, Austin, TX 78703.
The event features a certified 5K (3.1 miles) course with professional timing. All results are posted immediately after the race. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families with strollers, and wheelchair participants.
The local entry fee for the 5K is listed as $40. To guarantee a Cupid's Chase shirt, registration should be completed by January 1, 2027; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in these 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 & over.
