Cupcake Crawl
The Cupcake Crawl is the fourth annual charity running event organized by Celebrate Birthdays, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides birthday presents and celebrations for foster children and other children in need. The event takes place at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida on August 29, 2026.
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5K chip timed (registration fee $35)
- Cup1K Dash 1 mile fun run for kids (registration fee $25)
- Virtual 5K option (registration fee $35)
Registration opens in early April 2026 and closes July 5, 2026. Registered participants receive a custom bib and a shirt; shirts are guaranteed for pre-registrations completed before August 1, 2026 and are available while supplies last. All finishers of the 5K receive a medal. All participants in the 5K and Cup1K receive a cupcake voucher from Sugar Darlings Cupcakes.
Awards for the 5K include special recognition for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers and five-year age-group awards for ages 9 and under through 70 plus (9 & Under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+).
Early packet pickup dates and locations are to be determined. Race day will provide shirt and bib pickup only and there will be no race day registration. Celebration Station on site will feature vendors, face painting, a balloon artist, and awards recognition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
