Cupcake Crawl (Al Lopez Park, Tampa FL)
The Cupcake Crawl is a charity running event organized by Celebrate Birthdays, a 501c3 organization that works to ensure foster children and children in need can celebrate their birthdays and receive a gift. The event takes place on August 29, 2026 at Al Lopez Park in Tampa.
Event formats include:
- 5K chip timed run
- 1 Mile Cup1K Dash, presented as a kids fun run
- 5K virtual race option
Registration details are provided for each event. Registration opens in April 2026 and closes on July 1, 2026 for the listed events. Entry fees are listed for each event and vary by race. Registered participants receive a custom bib and a shirt is guaranteed for those pre-registered before August 1, 2026; after that shirts are available while supplies last and some sizes may be unavailable close to the event.
Awards and participant items are specified. All finishers of the 5K receive a medal. The 5K awards first, second and third overall male and female, with 5 year age group awards for runners 9 and under through 70 plus. Participants in the 5K and the Cup1K receive a cupcake voucher from Sugar Darlings Cupcakes. Early packet pickup dates and locations are to be determined.
