Event Overview
The Culpeper Airport 5k is a running event held at the Culpeper Airport on Beverly Ford Road in Brandy Station, Virginia. The course is flat, paved, and uses an airport runway.
Race Details
The event features a single 5k distance. Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. The awards ceremony recognizes the top three men and women overall, as well as first and second place in age categories ranging from 19 & Under to 70+. Age group awards are not given to overall winners.
Registration costs $30 until March 15, after which it increases to $35. A $5 price increase applies on race morning. A t-shirt is guaranteed for runners registered before March 18; later registrants may receive one on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participant Information
Walkers and participants with strollers are welcome. A virtual run option is available for those unable to attend on race day. The event points count towards the organizer's Year-Long 5k, Back of the Pack, and Winter series.
On-Site Facilities
Packet pickup and race day registration are available at the event. One water station is located along the 5k course, and portajohns are near the start/finish line. Parking is available at the airport.

Live results are posted online and accessible via a QR code at the race. The event operates in all weather conditions. The Back of the Pack (BOTP) time is listed as 11:00 AM, which is a reference for a specific race series, not a cutoff time.
