The Crystal Springs Trail Run takes place on Sunday, January 17, 2027, at Huddart Park (Werder Shelter) in Woodside, California.

Course Details
The courses go through Huddart Park, King's Mountain, and Bear Gulch, featuring scenery like redwoods and ferns. Each distance has a specific elevation gain and course surface composition:
- 8K: 710 ft gain. Surface: 48% single track, 40% dirt road, 12% asphalt.
- Half Marathon: 2,190 ft gain. Surface: 78% single track, 18% dirt road, 4% asphalt.
- 35K: 2,990 ft gain. Surface: 87% single track, 11% dirt road, 2% asphalt.
- Marathon: 3,790 ft gain. Surface: 72% single track, 26% dirt road, 2% asphalt.
- 50K: 4,530 ft gain. Surface: 72% single track, 26% dirt road, 2% asphalt.
The route is marked with color-coded ribbons, with polka-dot flags indicating turns. Participants are advised to retrace their steps if they do not see their designated color for 3-4 minutes. Headphones are only allowed on dirt road sections. The event has a time limit of 8.5 hours for all events, with specific cut-offs for the Marathon and 50K distances at the Bear Gulch Aid Station.
Logistics
Bib and shirt pick-up begins at 7:00 AM on race day. Participants are asked to arrive 45 minutes before their event. Parking costs $6 per vehicle. Dogs are not allowed in the park, and there is no bag check service. The event is cupless, so runners should bring their own fluid container, though disposable cups are available upon request. Aid stations are placed every 5-9 miles and provide fresh fruit, snacks, candy, water, and electrolyte sports drink.
Awards
All pre-registered runners receive a t-shirt, and all finishers receive a custom medal. 50K finishers also get a custom coaster. Overall winners for each distance (top 3 male and female) receive race credits for future events. The top three finishers in each age group and gender receive award medals.
