Course Details

The sprint triathlon consists of three segments. The race begins with a single-loop 0.5-mile swim starting from Crystal Cove beach. This is followed by an 18-mile bike leg, described as an out-and-back course through the countryside of Rensselaer County. The final segment is a 3-mile run on a course described as mostly flat and around Crystal Lake. The Aqua Bike events cover the same swim and bike courses as the triathlon but conclude upon entering the transition area after the bike leg.
