About the race
Crystal Beach 5K is a community running event held in Crystal Beach, Fort Erie, Ontario on October 10, 2026. The event includes a certified out and back 5 km course that starts and finishes in front of Legacy Bar and Grill. The course is described as sanctioned and certified. Event formats include a 5 km run, a 5 km walk, and a Kid's Fun Run for children.
The Kid's Fun Run is open to ages 0 to 10. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards and scooters are not permitted on the course. Awards are presented for top overall male and female runners and walkers. Medals are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, and to the top three walkers.
All finishers receive a custom medal. T-shirts are available for the first 500 registered participants. The event notes that it is dog friendly and that a post race party will take place at the Grove. Additional participant details such as registration categories and fees are published for the event.
