Crusader Cross Country Classic
The Crusader Cross Country Classic is the 1st annual cross country meet held at Muskegon Catholic Central Monsignor Kehren Stadium in Muskegon, Michigan. The main community event is a 5K course that starts and finishes on the old cinder track inside the stadium and runs around the school athletic fields and grounds. The course follows much of the same path as the previous route but removes the hairpin turn; it is described as flat and spectator friendly.
An Alumni and Community Race is open to all. Registration for the listed race opens on 11/10/2025 and closes 8/21/2026. The entry fee is $25 until August 21 and increases to $30 on race day. Registration is handled through RunSignUp.
Packet pick up is available at a table inside the stadium. Restrooms are available inside the stadium. An athletic trainer will be positioned near the finish line for first aid needs. Chip timing is provided by MI Time Race Management LLC.
Race proceeds support the Cross Country and Track & Field programs at Muskegon Catholic Central. Awards include a mini trophy for first place male and female finishers and custom vinyl stickers for other finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
