Crown Run 5k
The Crown Run 5k is an annual 5K road race organized by the Eta Chi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha and hosted on the Francis Marion University campus. The event supports breast cancer education and research, with proceeds directed to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.
The course is set to start and finish at the Freedom Florence Sports Complex in Florence, SC. Participants will receive a 5K shirt while supplies last. Event logistics include a pre-race opening welcome and post-race announcements and awards.
Awards are given for overall and age-group performance. Overall awards are presented to the top male and top female finishers. Additional awards are presented to the top two male and top two female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
