Crown Point Relay & 8K/5K
Crown Point Relay & 8K/5K is a set of road races held at Crown Point Park (also known as Crown Point Shores) on Mission Bay in San Diego. The event date is October 25, 2026. The course is described as a pavement style flat route along Mission Bay.
Distances and formats:
- Marathon SOLO: 10 laps of the 2.62 mile relay course
- Half Marathon SOLO: 5 laps of the 2.62 mile relay course
- Team relays: marathon and half options, teams of 2 or up to 5, minimum 3
- 8K: 4.97 miles
- 5K: 3.10 miles
Timing and results are chip timed with live online results and an onsite screen showing laps and times for relay teams and individuals. Awards include finisher medals and tech t shirts for individual entrants, top three overall awards for Solo Half and Full Marathon, top three overall for 8K and 5K, and age group awards in multiple brackets. Team relay divisions include Open, Club, Recreational, Military, Military Veterans and Masters, with awards for top teams in each division.
