San Diego Leprechaun Run
The San Diego Leprechaun Run is the 8th annual road race held on March 14, 2026 in Pacific Beach. The event includes a community 5K and a separate Kids 1 Mile, both staged in the downtown Pacific Beach area.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K Run
- Kids 1 Mile Run
The course runs through the streets of downtown Pacific Beach and finishes under a rainbow. All participants receive a Leprechaun Run t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, chip timing, a custom bib, free photos, and a complimentary drink ticket. Free event photos are provided and timing is managed with chip timing.
A bonus finisher recognition is available for participants who complete three designated events in 2026. Individuals who finish the Leprechaun Run, the Pacific Beach Half Marathon & 5K, and the San Diego Santa Run in 2026 receive a challenger finisher bling.
Additional event merchandise is available for purchase, including green striped socks for $15 and green, orange, or white wristbands for $7.
