Crescent City Classic 10K - CCC10K
The Crescent City Classic 10k is an annual point-to-point 10,000-meter road race held in New Orleans since 1979. Produced by the Crescent City Classic Foundation, a not-for-profit 5013c entity, the event takes place each year on the Saturday before Easter Sunday and finishes inside New Orleans City Park.
The course is USAT&F sanctioned and certified. It begins in front of the Caesars Superdome in Downtown New Orleans, proceeds through the French Quarter past Jackson Square, continues along Esplanade Avenue, and finishes on Lelong Avenue near the New Orleans Museum of Art. For participant safety, bikes, rollerblades, skates and pets (other than service animals) are not allowed on the course. Medical support is provided by New Orleans EMS units and the LCMC Health medical team, and a trailing vehicle is available for participants who cannot finish.
Events around the race include a two-day Health & Fitness Expo at the Hyatt Regency and the Michelob Ultra RaceFest in City Park with live music, food, an awards ceremony, and a Family Fun Zone. The Run For It charity program aims to raise $1 million annually; charity registrants must raise a minimum amount to qualify for program benefits. Registration fees vary by date; entry fees are non-refundable. All entrants receive a timed race bib, a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher’s medallion. Mail-bib and virtual participation options are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
