Mercer PA Creepy Crawly 5K
The Mercer PA Creepy Crawly is the 15th annual community 5K run and walk presented by Mercer University’s Physician Assistant Studies program. The event benefits Grace Village Medical Clinic, whose mission is to provide quality, wholistic healthcare and prescriptions to people who could not otherwise afford them.
This is a trail run and walk open to all ages. The route uses compact gravel, concrete, and wooded trail surfaces. The course does not permit strollers and may be difficult for some participants. Dogs on leashes are allowed. Costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for top runners and for the best costume.
Registration fees vary by age and timing: a $35 online registration fee includes a commemorative shirt if registered before October 1, 2026; day of registration is available but does not include the commemorative shirt. Seniors age 65 and older have a $30 registration fee. Children age 10 and under may run free, without a T-shirt.
The event is scheduled for Saturday October 24, 2026, at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. The race is organized as a student outreach project by the Physician Assistant Studies class, intended to raise funds for the benefiting clinic and to connect students with the surrounding community.
