Cream Puff 5K
The Cream Puff 5K is an in-person run and walk held at Wisconsin State Fair Park on July 15, 2026. The event benefits the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation and coincides with anniversary observances for the State Fair and the United States in 2026.
There are two event distances offered:
- 5K in-person run/walk
- 1.5K in-person walk not timed
Per-participant registration includes 2026 Wisconsin State Fair admission, an Original Cream Puff, a soft-feel T-shirt, a commemorative participant ribbon, and a beverage selection listed as Michelob Ultra or Dasani water. A packet mailing option is available for an additional fee of $15. Standard registration fee is $38. Teams of 13 or more adults entered under the same team or group name receive a discount and may have their team name printed on the back of the shirt.
A costume contest is part of the event with Individual and Group categories. Contestants must be registered for the run and display their bib to participate; judges will pre-screen entries, and winners are announced before the run. Prizes include a trophy per category, a take-home pack of cream puffs, and a State Fair fun pack with assorted items.
