Cream City 5K
The 12th Annual Cream City 5K takes place on April 24, 2027 at Greenfield Park, 2028 S 124th St, Milwaukee, WI. The event raises awareness for organ, tissue, and eye donation across southeastern Wisconsin during Donate Life Month and includes in-person and virtual participation options.
Available distances include:
- 5K Run (in-person and virtual)
- 3K Walk (in-person and virtual)
- 0.4K Kellan's Fun Run for Kids (in-person and virtual)
The course is described as a fast, scenic loop. All registered participants receive a gender-specific long sleeve technical race shirt and a finisher medal; post-race food and drink are provided at the finish area. The kids event is held in memory of a child who became an organ donor; youth entrants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, and race bag.
5K awards include top three overall men and women, masters winners (first male and female age 40+), and top three in each age group from 10 & under through 80+. Overall and masters winners are not eligible for age group awards. The 3K Walk is non-competitive and has no awards.
Packet pickup is at Performance Running Outfitters, 2205 N Calhoun Road, Brookfield, WI, with pickup dates on April 22, April 23, and the morning of April 24. Team registration opens May 1, 2026. The event proceeds rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
