Crazy Water 5K
The Crazy Water 5K is a road running event held in Mineral Wells, Texas, on October 10, 2026, at the corner of NW 4th Ave and NW 7th St. The race is part of the Crazy Water Festival, which begins on October 8 and continues through October 10 with festival programming including a concert.
The course is on roads and features many turns. The event proceeds in rain but will be rescheduled if severe weather occurs; when rescheduled, all race entries will be honored. Every runner receives a free entry into the Crazy Water Festival.
Registration is online only; paper registration forms and team registrations are not accepted. Registration opens August 10, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. The standard registration fee is $35 for registrations through race day and $40 for same‑day registration. The first 200 registrants will receive a shirt. Children 5 and under may enter free without a shirt.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, October 9 with location and time to be determined, and on Saturday, October 10 at the race site. Parking is available along NW 8th St at NW 4th Ave and along NW 7th St at NW 4th Ave.
Awards include overall male and female awards and medals for the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under; 13–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
