Crawfish Fest 5k
The Crawfish Fest 5k takes place in Pensacola Beach and serves as the opening event for the annual Crawfish Festival. Participants can choose between two main options:
- 5K Run
- 5k Walk
The course is located on the streets of Pensacola Beach. The route is described as flat and scenic, featuring organized navigation support including cones, arrows, police presence, and volunteers to guide participants along the path.
The event includes a post-race celebration and awards ceremony held at the Boardwalk and Bamboo Willie's. This gathering includes live music and refreshments, specifically steamed crawfish for those attending the party.
Packet pickup services are available on two separate days. Participants may collect their materials on the Friday preceding the event at Running Wild Pensacola or on the morning of the race at the Bamboo Willie's Boardwalk Parking Lot.
