CraggRunner Sprint 5k

The CraggRunner Sprint 5k takes place on Saturday, 24 October 2026. The venue is the Steven Burke Sports Hub in Nelson. Participants must be 15 years or older.

This event is part of a series for 2026. The race uses a flat course at the sports hub. Participants are allocated to one of six planned start times based on their predicted finishing time, with slower runners in the earlier times and faster runners in the later ones.

There are also separate junior races for participants aged 14 and under. These races are 1 km for under-10s, 2 km for under-12s, and 3 km for under-14s.

Entry fees are £12 for UK Athletics members and £14 for non-members. Entry on the day may be available if the race limit is not reached. Timing is provided by chip timing. Parking is not available on the field; participants are asked to park considerately in the local area. Portable toilets and water are available at the venue.
