CraggRunner Sprint 5k : Steven Burke Sports Hub, Nelson
The CraggRunner Sprint 5k is an outdoor 5 kilometer race held on 24 October 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub in Nelson, BB9 8SJ. The event is organised by CraggRunner and is part of a series of four planned 5 km races for 2026; participants may enter individual events or the whole series.
Entry opens 22 December 2025 and closes 21 October 2026. Entry fees listed for seniors include UKA member and non member rates, with a higher fee for entry on the day if places remain. Minimum age for the senior race is 15 or older. Junior races are provided separately for younger athletes with age appropriate distances and medals for the first three boys and girls in each junior race. There are no overall series prizes for juniors.
The course at the cycle hub is described as flat. Chip timing is provided by TIME MY RACE and results will be linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. Facilities at the venue include portable toilets and water before and after races. Parking on the Sport Hub field will not be available due to the time of year, so parking will be on local roads.
