CraggRunner Sprint 5k
The CraggRunner Sprint 5k takes place on Saturday 24 October 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub in Nelson. The course is described as flat and is laid out at the Steven Burke cycle hub. Chip timing will be used and results will be linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. The event is associated with Run Britain.
Entry for the senior 5k is available through the SiEntries system; registration or login with SiEntries is required to enter. Entry fees listed are UKA member £12 and non member £14. Entry on the day may be possible if the race limit is not reached at a cost of £15. Entries open 22 December 2025 and close 21 October 2026. The senior race minimum age is 15 or older.
Junior races are organised separately and have distinct entry links. Junior distances and medals for the first three boys and girls in each junior race are provided. Facilities at the venue include portable toilets and water available before and after races. There will be no parking on the Sport Hub field due to the time of year so participants are asked to use local roads for parking. The event is part of the CragRunner 5km Sprint Series and a discount of up to £6 per entry is available when entering four or more new events in the series.
