CraggRunner Sprint 5k
CraggRunner Sprint 5k is scheduled for Saturday 22 August 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub on Cravendale Ave in Nelson, BB9 8SJ. The event is organised by CraggRunner.
The main event is a 5k on a flat course at the Steven Burke cycle hub. The minimum age for the main race is 15 or older.
Junior races are provided for athletes aged 14 and under. Distances:
- u10 race, 1k
- u12 race, 2k
- u14 race, 3k Medals are awarded to the first three boys and girls in each junior race. There are no overall series prizes for juniors.
Entries opened on 22 December 2025 and close on 19 August 2026. Entry fees listed are UKA member £12.00 and non member £14.00. Entry on the day is possible if the race maximum is not reached at a cost of £15. Entries recorded so far are four participants.
Chip timing is provided by TIME MY RACE and results will be linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. Facilities at the venue include portable toilets and water available before and after races. There will be no parking on the Sport Hub field so attendees should use local roads and park considerately.
