CraggRunner Sprint 5k
The CraggRunner Sprint 5k is a road running event held at the Steven Burke Sports Hub in Nelson. The race utilizes a flat course at the cycle hub, designed for participants seeking a fast surface. This event is part of a four-race series scheduled throughout 2026, though participants have the option to enter individual races or the entire series.
The senior event is open to runners aged 15 and older. The competition structure features multiple separate races organized by predicted finish times to ensure athletes run with others of a similar pace. Results from the event are chip-timed and submitted to Run Britain and Power of 10.
