Event overview
CraggRunner Sprint 5k is a 5-kilometre road race held on Saturday 22 August 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub, Cravendale Ave, Nelson, BB9 8SJ, GB. The course is flat and takes place at the Steven Burke cycle hub. This event is one of four races in the 2026 CragRunner Sprint 5k series; other 2026 dates include 14 March, 13 June and 24 October. Entry and logistics
Entries open on 22 December 2025 and close on 19 August 2026. The minimum age for entry is 13. Standard entry fees are £12 for UKA members and £14 for non-members. Entry on the day is £15 if the race has not reached its maximum. Entry requires registration or login through SiEntries.
Organisers plan six separate races on the day and will allocate participants to a race based on predicted time. There will be portable toilets and water available before and after the race.
