CraggRunner Sprint 5k
The CraggRunner Sprint 5k is scheduled for 14 March 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub, Cravendale Ave, Nelson, BB9 8SJ. The event is a 5 km race held by the organiser CraggRunner. The course is described as flat and will use chip timing. Results will be linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. Portable toilets and water will be available at the venue. There will be no parking on the Sport Hub field; attendees should use local roads for parking.
Entry and event format
Entries open on 22 December 2025 and close on 11 March 2026. The minimum age is 13 on the event date. Entry fees listed are £12 for UKA members and £14 for non-members; entry on the day is shown at £15 if the race maximum is not reached. Entries so far are listed as 3 participants. The organiser plans six races on the day and will allocate runners to a race based on predicted time, with slower predicted times placed earlier and faster predicted times placed later. The event is part of a series of four 5 km events in 2026, with a discount available when entering four or more new events in the series.
