CraggRunner Sprint 5k
CraggRunner Sprint 5k is an organised running event on 14 March 2026 at the Steven Burke Sports Hub, Cravendale Ave, Nelson. The senior race distance is 5 km and the listed minimum age for the senior event is 15 or older.
Junior races are held separately for younger athletes with the following distances:
- U10: 1 km
- U12: 2 km
- U14: 3 km
Entries open online on 22 December 2025 and close on 11 March 2026. Entry fees are listed as £12 for UKA members and £14 for non members. Entry on the day is possible only if the race has not reached capacity and carries a fee of £15. Entry requires logging in or registering with SiEntries.
The course is described as flat and takes place at the Steven Burke cycle hub. Chip timing will be used by TIME MY RACE and results will be linked to Run Britain and Power of 10. The event is associated with Run Britain.
Facilities at the venue include portable toilets and water available before and after races. There will be no parking on the sports hub field; participants are asked to use local roads for parking.
