Coyote Hills Run - Fremont, CA
Coyote Hills at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, California, hosts running events on January 30, 2027. The event offers three distances and uses a mix of surfaces, including paved trails, dirt trails, and wooden boardwalks. The course layout was updated for 2024 to avoid a double loop and to reduce elevation gain.

Course changes may occur if requested by park management for reasons such as weather or repairs; updated courses are posted when available. The updated elevation totals are reduced from previous layouts: 5K now about 107 feet, 10K about 184 feet, and the half marathon about 678 feet of elevation gain. GPX files are provided for each distance to follow the courses on a phone or watch.
Aid stations are fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, candy, and similar items. The 5K has one aid station, the 10K has two, and the half marathon has three. Runners who need extra fluid are advised to carry their own water bottle or hydration pack.
For participants who plan to walk the half marathon and expect to take more than 3.5 hours, a Hiker Division is available; hikers are recorded as official finishers in that division and receive finisher medals but are not eligible for race or age-group awards.
