Cox Running Club Monster Dash is organized by Cox Running Club and takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76107. The event includes multiple running events:
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Beer Mile
Packet pickup is race day only at the race site. Online registration closes October 1. Race day registration is available at the race site.
Registration, fees and race features
Entry fees vary by registration date. Examples listed by the organizer:
- 5K: $30 (registered by August 1); $35 (registered after September 1); $40 (registered by October 2); Race Day $40.
- Half Marathon: $60 (registered by August 1); $65 (registered by September 1); $70 (registered by October 2); Race Day $75.
- Beer Mile: $20; limited to 50 spots.
The course is described as fast and flat. Features include awards three deep in five-year age brackets, overall and masters awards, custom finisher medals, Cox Running Club technical shirts for registered participants, free soft drinks and refreshments, and beer.
