Cowichan Autumn Classic Run Now Wine Later
The Cowichan Autumn Classic takes place around Glenora Community Hall in Duncan. The route includes sections of the Trans Canada Trail and runs near the Zanatta Estate Winery.
Participants can choose from multiple distances and there is a dedicated kids race through the vineyards. Many runners wear costumes and prizes are awarded for costumes.
Online registration closes on October 15. There is an early bib pick up and late registration the day before at Glenora Hall. There is no race day registration.
Runners receive a race bib and a finisher souvenir. At the finish in the vineyard there is a tasting with a monogrammed glass and a non alcoholic option. The event also provides an original finisher medal, massage services for a small donation, swag and prizes including a shoe raffle, and age division awards for top finishers.
Part of the event proceeds support Kidsport Cowichan. Route information and maps are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
