Cowichan Autumn Classic - Run Now Wine Later
The Cowichan Autumn Classic is scheduled for October 18, 2026 in the Glenora area of Duncan, British Columbia, at Glenora Community Hall, 3660 Glenora Rd. The course runs near the Trans Canada Trail and through vineyard areas associated with Zanatta Estate Winery.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km Kids Race for ages 1–10 through the vineyards
Finish-line provisions include a monogrammed wine glass with wine or juice and a tasting at the Zanatta Vineyard. Every finisher receives an original medal. Additional event features listed for participants are student-provided massage with a suggested minimum donation of CA$5, swag and prizes (including running shoes that require presence to win), food, and on-course or finish-line photography.
Awards are given as medal placings to the first three in each 10-year age division. The event supports Kidsport Cowichan. Online registration closes October 15 at 11:59 PM. Early bib pick-up and late registration occur on October 17 at Glenora Hall during a stated afternoon window; race day bib pick-up is available in specified morning windows for each distance. There is no race day registration. Pricing varies by date and event category; a children’s entry is listed at CA$11.75 for current registration periods.
