Coveathlon #1 : Newport Beach, CA
Coveathlon #1 takes place on July 9, 2026 at 1131 Bay Back Drive, Newport Beach, CA, United States. The event program includes standalone swim and run races plus combined swim-run formats and a relay option.
Event distances include:
- 1K Swim plus 5K Run (6K total)
- 1K Swim
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
- 1K Swim plus 5K Run Relay
Registration opens March 25, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. Individual entry fees are listed per event: 1K Swim plus 5K Run $65, 1K Swim $40, 5K Run $40, 10K Run $45, and the swim-run relay $90. Series passes are offered for each race: 1K Swim plus 5K Run Pass $260 plus fees (save $20); 1K Swim Pass $170 plus fees (save $10); 5K Run Pass $170 plus fees (save $10); 10K Run Pass $190 plus fees (save $10). Only 50 series passes are available. Each race is capped at 250 athletes.
Registration includes a race t-shirt, silicone swim cap, free race photos, chip timing with live results, and awards after every race. Athletes who finish all four races receive a special edition long-sleeve t-shirt. Award categories are specified for each event, and team awards are presented at the final race.
