Cove Lake 5K
The Cove Lake 5K is held at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville, Tennessee. The course runs on paved trails through woods and along the lake shore. The event is part of the Campbell County Running Series.
Multiple participation options are listed, including an in-person 5K, an adaptive category for athletes with a disability, a virtual 5K that takes place May 30 to June 14, and a registration-only support option. Registration for the main entries opens February 15 and closes May 31; the support option has a later closing date. The base registration fee is $30; entries after June 2 through race day are $35.
Packet pick-up is available on the Saturday of the event at the park administration building adjacent to the start area. Registration and timing services are provided by a third party.
Race shirts are available for registrants who register by June 6; shirts are distributed on race day while supplies last. Awards are given to male and female overall winners and to masters, grandmasters and veterans, plus age-division awards across standard age groups from 12 and under through 80 and up.
