Hope in Motion 5K - Clinton
This community-focused event takes place in Clinton on Saturday, March 7, 2026. It is organized by ASAP of Anderson County to raise awareness and educate the community about substance abuse. Proceeds from the event support the organization's prevention and education outreach.
The event includes two race options:
- Hope in Motion 5K Race
- Family Fun Mile Run/ Walk
The 5K course begins and ends under the Clinton Bridge at 19 Riverside Drive. It runs along Riverside Drive near the river before navigating to peaceful back roads in a lollipop-style route. A water station is available near the halfway point.
All participants registered for the 5K will receive a race T-shirt and a finisher medal. The deadline to order a shirt in a specific size is February 23, 2026.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K. Age group awards for the 5K are given in 10-year increments. Children under 12 who complete the Mile Fun Run will receive a special prize.
Facilities include restrooms near the start and finish area. Parking is available in adjacent lots near the Clinton Bridge and the start/finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
