Hope in Motion 5K : Clinton, TN
Hope in Motion 5K takes place Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Clinton, Tennessee and is organized by ASAP of Anderson to raise awareness and educate the community about substance abuse. The event includes a 5K race and a Family Fun Mile run/walk.
The 5K course runs along Riverside Drive near the river before continuing onto quieter back roads in a lollipop layout. The course begins and ends under the Clinton Bridge near 19 Riverside Drive.
Giveaways and awards are provided for the 5K: all 5K registrations receive a race T-shirt and a finisher medal; T-shirt orders must be placed by February 23 to secure a size. The race recognizes the top three male and female finishers and awards age group placings in 10-year increments: under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
Children under 12 who complete the Family Fun Mile receive a special prize. Restroom facilities are available near the start and finish area, and a water station is located on the course near the halfway point. Parking is available in adjacent lots near the bridge and the start/finish area. Proceeds support ASAP of Anderson County's outreach in prevention and education around substance abuse.
