Location and Course
The event is staged at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville, Tennessee. The course for the 5K is an out-and-back route along a paved trail within the park.
Charitable Purpose
Proceeds support the Campbell Culture Coalition ArtReach program in local elementary schools and help fund artists for the annual Louie Bluie Festival held at the park in September.
Participant Information
Packet pick-up begins at the race venue. Participants in the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk receive a bib, safety pins, and a t-shirt. A shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before March 15; registrations on or after that date are not guaranteed the requested shirt size.
Post-race light refreshments are provided. Walkers are welcome on the course. Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not permitted on the 5K or 1 Mile course. The 5K course has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Awards
Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, top male and female masters, and top male and female grandmasters. Age group awards are offered for categories: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. Largest team awards are also presented and must be claimed at the event.
Virtual Event
A virtual 5K option allows participants to run their chosen course anywhere between March 27 and April 5. Virtual participants can post their times to the results page and receive a race shirt, which must be picked up. They are not eligible for awards.
