Logistics and race services

Packet pick-up is available at the race venue on race day. Registered 5K and 1 Mile participants receive a bib, safety pins, and a race shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before March 15. The race provides light refreshments after the event. Largest team awards must be claimed at the event and will not be mailed.

Course, rules and awards

The 5K course is an out-and-back route on the paved scenic trail at Cove Lake State Park. Roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the 5K or 1 Mile courses; walkers are welcome. The 5K course has a 1 hour 15 minute time limit. Awards include Top 3 Overall male and female, Top Masters male and female, and multiple age-group awards (1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+).

Virtual event and tracking

The virtual 5K runs from March 27 to April 3, 2026. Virtual participants may use the RaceJoy mobile app for GPS tracking, progress alerts, and result submission.
