Countryside 10k
The Countryside 10k is an in-person 10 km running race held at Witt Park in Sidney, Illinois (306 Witt Park Road) on June 6, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Witt Park and continues on local country roads.
Course marshals will be posted at most intersections and arrows will mark the route on pavement. Runners are encouraged to run on the left side of the road and remain aware of traffic. Participants should note there may be loose gravel or potholes on parts of the course.
Registration is online only; registration opens March 20 and closes June 6 at 7:15 a.m. The registration fee is $30.00. Bib pick-up is at Body n’ Sole, 1317 N Dunlap St, Savoy, on Friday, June 5 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and on race morning from 6:45 to 7:15 am.
Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, overall male and female masters winners, and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Post-race giveaways require winners to be present. Volunteers are used to support the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
