Countryside 10k : Sidney, IL
The Countryside 10K is an in-person road race held on June 6, 2026, with start and finish at Witt Park in Sidney, Illinois. After leaving the park the course follows country roads. Volunteers will be stationed at most intersections and arrows will mark the route on the pavement. Runners are encouraged to keep to the left side of the road and be aware of vehicle traffic; the course surface may include loose gravel or potholes.
Registration is online only, with entry opening March 20 and closing June 6. The registration fee is $30. Bib pick-up is available at Body n’ Sole in Savoy on Friday, June 5 and on race morning at the event location.
Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, overall male and female masters winners, and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over. Post-race giveaways are planned; winners must be present to claim items.
Volunteers are needed to staff the course and aid the event. The race includes an in-person Sidney Dairy Barn ice cream sandwich provided to registrants on race day only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
