Kennekuk Road Runners - Mountain Goat
This event takes place March 20, 2027 at Kickapoo State Recreation Area, 10906 Kickapoo Park Rd, Oakwood, IL 61858. There are three distance options run on a looped 5k course that is repeated as needed for longer distances.
- 5K: 1 out and back of the hills
- 10K: 2 out and back of the hills
- 15K: 3 out and back of the hills
The course surface is approximately 90% asphalt and 10% surfaced handicapped trail. Each out and back includes a hill section; an aid station is located at the bottom of the hill about halfway through the out and back.
