Event overview

The Country School Black & Gold Run and Fun Fest takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at The Country School, 716 Goldsborough Street, Easton. The main running event is a 5K Walk/Run. There is also a virtual 5K option and several free, short runs for youth. The fun runs include a one-mile route around campus and buddy runs for Pre-K/5th grade and K/8th grade students. This is the school's fourth annual Black & Gold 5K and falls during the school's 90th anniversary weekend.

Activities and community giving

The event includes a Fun Fest with carnival games, a bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course, a dunk tank, food, and sweet treats. Organizers are running a sneaker drive through GotSneakers; collected shoes will be recycled or reused and will generate funds that the school will donate to Talbot Interfaith Shelter.
