4th Annual Merrill Morgan 5k for Parkinson's Disease : Federalsburg, MD
The event is a community running and walking event held on April 18, 2026 at Colonel Richardson High School, 25320 Richardson Road, Federalsburg, MD. It benefits Parkinson's Disease in honor of Merrill Morgan and is presented by Colonel Richardson High School in cooperation with the Seashore Striders and Seashore Strider Event Production Inc.

- 5k for middle and high school students
- 1 mile walk for middle and high school students
The 5k uses a loop course on the country roads around Federalsburg. Chip timing will be used with the Chronotrack system. Race amenities listed include long sleeve race shirts, medals for age group winners, and light refreshments that include items described as "Coaches Favorites." Awards are planned for overall male and female, Masters, and top three in 10 year age groups from 13 and under to 70 and over; the top three male and female walkers will also receive medals.
Entry fees are tiered with early and race week pricing for both the 5k and 1 mile walk, and a student rate for current middle and high school students through the race week deadline.
