Kent Island Fast & Furriest Run for Rescues - Stevensville, MD

The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Terrapin Nature Park, 191 Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666. It is organized as a 100% charity event with proceeds benefiting the Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue and Education Center. The road/trail course is an out-and-back along the Cross-Island Trail on Kent Island. The race distances offered are:

• 5K
• 10K
• 15K
• Virtual race (all distances)

All three on-site distances (5K, 10K, 15K) have been certified by USA Track & Field. The 15K is included in the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix series. The three in-person races begin together at Terrapin Nature Park and follow the same out-and-back route on the Cross-Island Trail.

Registration and fees

Listed entry fees include processing charges: 5K - $43.40 (includes $3.40 fee); 10K - $48.70 (includes $3.70 fee); 15K - $54.00 (includes $4.00 fee); Virtual race - $43.40 (includes $3.40 fee).
