All three measured distances are certified by USA Track & Field. The 15K is included in the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix series of races. A virtual race option is offered that covers the same distances.
This event is organized as a 100% charity race. The selected beneficiary for 2026 is the Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue and Education Center.
The on-course route starts at Terrapin Nature Park and runs out and back along the Cross-Island Trail on Kent Island. The three in-person races begin together at the park and follow the same out-and-back corridor on the trail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
