Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge
The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge takes place in the Cotswolds on 12 and 13 June 2027 with a Cirencester basecamp. The event offers multiple distance options, a looped full 100 km route, and a two day 100 km format with an optional campsite at the halfway point. Participants can walk, jog, or run, and may enter as individuals or teams. There are category options including Ultra March for walkers, Ultra Trailblazerz for faster runners, and a Solo Start option.
The route is fully signed and marked with arrows, and the organiser provides GPS tracking via an event app. Covered rest stops appear about every 12.5 km, with major stops every 25 km; catering includes snacks every 12.5 km and main meals every 25 km, with dietary needs catered for. Medical support, podiatry and massage teams are available at rest stops, and a timing system scans progress at stops. Shuttle buses, transfers, parking and baggage transfer services are offered at key venues. Finishers receive a medal, a finisher T shirt and a finishers meal, and an official certificate can be downloaded.
