Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge - 13 to 14 June 2026
The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge is a supported series of trail events based at a Cirencester basecamp, running on looped and point to point routes through the Cotswolds. Routes use footpaths, trails and sections of the Cotswold Way and include notable ascent figures for each distance.
Available distances:
- 100 km full continuous loop, ~2250 m climb
- Two day 100 km option with overnight camping, 53 km then 47 km
- ~76 km three quarter route, ~1650 m climb
- ~53 km first half, ~1600 m climb
- ~47 km second half, ~650 m climb
- ~30 km quarter route, ~1000 m climb
- ~23 km quarter route, ~600 m climb
- 10 km Cirencester 10K
Event services include marquee rest stops approximately every ~12.5 km with major stops every ~25 km, catering that covers meals and snacks, medical teams, podiatry and massage stations, and a 24 hour control room. The route is fully signed with additional GPS tracking and a participant app offering maps and training guides. Accommodation options at basecamp range from camping and hostel style to bookable transfers and parking. Entry categories include a walker paced Ultra March option and a Trailblazerz category for faster competitive runners.
