Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge
The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge takes place in the Cotswolds on 13 and 14 June 2026 with Cirencester as the event basecamp. The full continuous route is a loop of approximately 100 km through rolling hills, villages, the Cotswold Way, footpaths and trails, with route ascent and scenic views noted by the organiser. A two day daylight option splits the 100 km into stages with an overnight camping option.
Support and logistics include covered rest stops about every 12.5 km with major stops every 25 km, catering and seating, medical and welfare tents, changing areas, and massage and podiatry services. The route is fully signed and the event app provides GPS tracking and route maps; organisers use a timing system that scans participants at rest stops. Free food and drink are supplied with snacks at regular intervals and main meals at larger stops; dietary requirements are catered for.
Event categories and options include Ultra March for timed walkers, the Trailblazerz competitive running category, a Solo Challenger start option, team entries, and a Cirencester 10 km. Camping packages, shuttle transfers and other bookable extras are offered. Finishers receive a medal, a T shirt, a glass of fizz and a finisher meal, plus an official challenge certificate.
