Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge
The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge is a multi-distance trek and trail run based at a Cirencester basecamp in the Cotswolds. The event runs as a looped route through rolling hills, villages, sections of the Cotswold Way, footpaths and trails, and accommodates up to 2,000 participants.

- 100 km
- 75 km
- 50 km
- 25 km
- 10 km
The full continuous route is approximately 100 km with about 2,250 m of climb. A two-day daylight option divides the route into a first day of about 53 km with ~1,600 m climb and a second day of about 47 km with ~650 m climb. There are also three quarter and half variations and a local Cirencester 10 km.
Support infrastructure includes covered rest stops roughly every 12.5 km with larger stops every 25 km, catering, medical and massage teams, seating and changing areas. The route is fully signed with pink arrows and night glow-sticks, and the event uses timing scans at rest stops plus GPS tracking via an event app with maps and training resources.
Additional services listed are camping and hostel options at basecamp, shuttle transfers and parking, a solo challenger start option, Ultra March and Ultra Trailblazerz categories, finisher medal and T-shirt, and a finishers meal.
