Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge
Scheduled for 12-13 June 2027 in the Cotswolds, the event uses Cirencester basecamp as the start of a full 100 km looped route through the Cotswolds. The route runs across rolling hills, villages, the Cotswold Way, footpaths and trails, offering varied terrain and multiple viewpoints.
Available distances:
- 100 km full loop
- 75 km option
- 50 km half route
- 25 km quarter route
- 10 km Cirencester course
Support and logistics include marquee rest stops with catering and seating, snacks and drink stations approximately every 12.5 km, main meals approximately every 25 km, medical and massage teams, and a timing system that scans participants at rest stops. The route is marked with arrows and glow-sticks for night sections and is supported by GPS tracking via an event app.
Accommodation and transport options include basecamp camping and hostel style accommodation, camping packages with showers and chill out areas, shuttle buses to local train stations, transfers and parking. There are solo start, Ultra March, and Trailblazerz options. Finish-line provisions include a medal, finisher T shirt, a glass of fizz and a finisher meal, and an official event certificate is available to download.
