Event Overview
The 41st Corrida de Los Locos running event takes place in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It features a main 5-mile race and a free 1-mile kids fun run.
Location and Course
The event starts and finishes at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex on Caja Del Rio Road. The course is an out-and-back route on the Camino Real trail, offering views of the Jemez Mountains and Sangre de Cristo mountains. Parking is available at the softball field #5.
Race Details
- The Corrida de Los Locos 5 Mile Race: Registration costs $45 and increases after February 14, 2026.
- The Corrida Kids Race - 1 Mile: This event is free, with registration closing on March 5, 2026.
Additional Information
Race number pickup and race-day registration are available at the venue. Participants who register before February 15th receive a race shirt. Post-race snacks are provided. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers, as well as winners in various age groups from 15-19 to 70+. The event organizer, Santa Fe Striders, uses proceeds to offer scholarships to eligible high school seniors who participated in track or cross country.
