The 41st Corrida de Los Locos takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The race starts and finishes at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex, 205 Caja Del Rio Road. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5 mile - $40
- 1 mile (Kids Race) - $0
The kids race is scheduled after the 5-mile race. Race number pickup will be at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex softball concession stand. A map of the 5-mile course is posted and a downloadable course PDF is available.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5-mile course is an out-and-back on the Camino Real Trail with views of the Jemez Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Parking is at MRSC softball field #5. Post-race snacks will be provided immediately following the race.
Register before February 15 to receive a race shirt. Awards include Top 3 Male, Female and Nonbinary overall, plus age group awards for Male and Female in these brackets: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The Santa Fe Striders use event proceeds to offer scholarships for eligible graduating high school seniors from north-central New Mexico; donors are invited to consider additional donations of $10-$20 to support the scholarship program.
