Event overview
The Corrida de Los Locos takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The event includes two race distances and a kids fun run. Location and course
The race starts and finishes at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex, 205 Caja Del Rio Road, Santa Fe, NM 87507. The course is an out-and-back route on the Camino Real Trail. The venue offers views of the Jemez Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo mountains. A course map PDF is provided by the organizers.
Logistics, shirts and awards
Race number pickup is at the MRSC softball concession stand from 7:15 AM to 7:50 AM on race day; on-site registration is listed from 7:00 AM to 7:50 AM. Registrants who register before February 15 receive a race shirt. Post-race snacks are provided immediately following the race. Awards are scheduled to be distributed about 9:30 AM for Top 3 Male, Female and Nonbinary overall, and age group awards for Male and Female in standard decade categories from 15-19 through 70+.
Beneficiary and parking
The event supports the Santa Fe Striders scholarship program for eligible graduating high school seniors from north-central New Mexico who participated in track or cross country and who are accepted to a two- or four-year college.
