Events
The 41st Corrida de Los Locos offers two events:
- The Corrida de Los Locos 5 Mile Race
- The Corrida Kids Race - 1 Mile
The kids' race has free entry.
Location
The start and finish for all events is at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex at 205 Caja Del Rio Road in Santa Fe. Parking is located at the MRSC softball field #5, across the street from a rugby pitch. The course runs on the Camino Real Trail and is an out-and-back route with views of the Jemez Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
Registration
Online registration is tiered:
- $40 from November 1, 2025 to December 6, 2025.
- $45 from December 7, 2025 to March 5, 2026.
Race day registration is available for $50. Race number pickup is at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex softball concession stand.
Perks and Awards
Participants who register before February 15, 2026, receive a race shirt. Post-race snacks are provided.
Awards are presented around 9:30 AM for the top three overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers in the 5 mile race. Age group awards are given for male and female categories: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Beneficiary
The event supports the Santa Fe Striders scholarship program for graduating high school seniors from north-central New Mexico who participated in track or cross country and have been accepted to college. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
