Girls on the Run Santa Fe 5K
The event is a celebratory 5K on May 10, 2026, at Santa Fe Community College that marks the end of the Girls on the Run season. It is described as family-friendly and intended to give program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Pre-run festivities include Happy Hair, face painting, and a group warmup. Sponsors mentioned include State Employees Credit Union and Santa Fe Community College.
Registration is open to the general community. Current Girls on the Run participants and coaches are already registered for the 5K and do not pay an additional fee. Running buddies must register through a link provided by coaches and Girls on the Run Santa Fe. Additional family members and community participants must register and sign a waiver. All participants will receive a T shirt, with sizes distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in male and female categories. Published registration fees are $25 for early bird registration before April 10, 2026, and $35 for registrations from April 11 through May 8, 2026.
