Event overview
The Corre Con Dignidad 5K takes place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Sandy Creek Park, 400 Bob Holman Road, Athens, GA 30607. The event is organized by a volunteer group of 15 people that aims to bring Latinx community, culture, food, and music to Athens while raising funds to provide direct assistance, emotional support, and resources for people facing hardship or displacement. The course is USATF certified and runs entirely inside the park on paved surfaces.
Logistics and awards
Base registration for the event is $30; the price increases after November 15, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. Each person entering Sandy Creek Park aged 4 to 64 will be charged a $2.00 gate entry fee. T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by November 15, 2025; after that date they are available while supplies last. Awards are given to Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female, and in the following male and female age groups: 10 and Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and Over. The race is part of the Black Bag Race Series and finish line timing is provided by Classic Race Services. In case of storms, the start may be delayed in 15-minute increments; there are no refunds for inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
