Rhode Island 5k
The Rhode Island 5k is a company team event held at Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island, centered at the Temple to Music section. The venue address is 1000 Elmwood Avenue. The event date is Monday July 20th, 2026.
Pre race activities include packet pickup, race night registration and a company gathering at the Temple to Music. Banquet table seating will be set up on the large section of grass in front of the Temple to Music for team picnics and seating.
The 5k run and walk course starts and finishes at the Temple to Music and remains entirely within Roger Williams Park. The route goes past the botanical center, Japanese gardens, the zoo and other scenic spots inside the park.
The post race party at the Temple to Music will offer free beer and free pizza. Companies may arrange their own catering for a team picnic. A DJ will provide music throughout the event and a photographer will take free team and individual photos. Awards are presented for largest team, best tee shirt and fastest teams and individuals.
Registration costs $48 per team member. Online registration closes Wednesday July 15th and teams have a payment deadline of Friday July 17th. Race night registration is permitted for team members who miss the online deadline. Free parking is available at the Temple to Music and on surrounding park streets.
